For DJ Fré, the go-to DJ for CrossFit athletes, we developed a dynamic brand identity that extends to his custom mix station, WOD Radio. The DJ Fré mark cleverly combines “dF” circling a record, while the WOD Radio logo features a kettlebell in the “O” with a subtle record, powerfully tying these two energetic brands together.

Our objective for DJ Fré & WOD Radio was to create a cohesive and high-energy brand identity that resonated with the intensity and passion of the CrossFit community. DJ Fré is renowned for his custom mixes tailored specifically for athletes, and his creation of WOD Radio amplifies his unique offering.

We designed two distinct yet interconnected logos to form a strong brand family. The DJ Fré mark is a sleek, modern emblem. It ingeniously combines the lowercase “d” and “F” to form a unified symbol, which is then dynamically positioned to encircle a graphic representation of a record. This design directly communicates his role as a DJ while maintaining a clean, athletic aesthetic.

For the WOD Radio logo, we drew inspiration directly from the CrossFit world. The “O” in “WOD” (Workout of the Day) is creatively transformed into a kettlebell, a highly recognizable piece of CrossFit equipment. Crucially, within the center of this kettlebell, we subtly integrated a record graphic. This clever detail serves as a visual bridge, directly linking WOD Radio back to DJ Fré’s core identity and establishing a clear brand family.

The overall color palette is vibrant and energetic, utilizing bold hues that evoke motivation and high performance. The typography selected is modern, strong, and highly legible, suitable for both digital platforms and athletic apparel. This comprehensive brand identity system effectively captures the essence of DJ Fré’s specialized niche, establishing a powerful visual presence for both his personal brand and his innovative radio station within the CrossFit community.
